Executive Officer News

Current News:

Kansas DeMolay is on a roll! Come join in on the growth, the fun and the excitement of being part of Kansas DeMolay.  We have added a new Chapter in Garden springs Kansas and are presently exploring new Chapters in towns all over the state. I urge any adult who is interested in supporting the youth of our state to contact me regarding the opening of a new Chapter in your area. New chapters are not difficult to open and require as few as 5 young men and two adults.

In 2005 we will hold three major conventions:

1.      Annual Ritual Competition Feb 19th, 2005 in Ft. Scott , hosted by the Ft. Scott Scottish Rites. Winners will progress to national competition at the Frank Marshall in Dallas Texas and enjoy a day at 6 Flags amusement Park.

2.      July 2005, Kansas DeMolay Congress in Salina . The annual DeMolay Congress is the legislative and elections Congress activity. We will elect new state officers, consider legislation affecting DeMolay around the state, and enjoy some sports competitions.

3.      October Fun Conclave 2005. Where will it be in 2005? That’s up to the young men of DeMolay who must determine what fun activity they want to enjoy as a statewide activity.

And of course at all of these events we will initiate new members and invite the Rainbow, Job’s Daughters and other young ladies to join us for an evening dance. As membership grows we will add a fourth annual event.

Just because we offer initiations at state wide events in no way prohibits any Chapters, or group of Chapters from getting together to plan fun events, put on degrees, or otherwise plan joint activities.

Ksdemolay.org now has a calendar of events. If you are a Masonic Family organization we welcome the inclusion of all of your events on our calendar. Please email the webmaster for further information.
